work with me
I prioritize collaborating with my clients to discover short and long-term goals for therapy. We will work together to explore your story and uncover how you have been shaped by relationships, past experiences, and cultural influences. Together, we can cultivate new narratives that incorporate your unique strengths and perspectives, fostering a greater sense of empowerment, fulfillment and self-compassion.

I believe individuals cannot be fully understood in isolation from one another, but rather as a part of the systems in which they were raised. I work with folks to explore intergenerational patterns of behavior and create corrective emotional experiences within their own relationships and families.
In therapy, individuals have the potential to create a more robust connection to themselves and others. Developing awareness around our emotional needs can create the possibility of expressing those needs more clearly and conscientiously. In our work together, we can re-author your stories to align more closely with your values and hopes.

Mothers face unrealistic expectations. We have to "do it all" — be successful at work, an engaged parent, a devoted partner and friend — while managing a disproportionate amount of the mental load. Single moms, queer parents, and non-biological mothers face additional challenges and needs for support. In our work together, we will explore how motherhood shifts and expands your identities, and how societal narratives about motherhood may be impacting you.
I am the mother to three dynamically different children (ages 12, 9 and 5) and have an understanding of the unique challenges – the joys and the sorrows – that take place during this time. I have also received training from Postpartum Support International and am able to support mothers and families during the perinatal and postpartum periods, one of the most dynamic, difficult and transformative times in a person’s life. In particular, I care deeply about helping mothers navigate difficult fertility challenges and loss, from miscarriage and stillbirth to termination for medical reasons.

In addition to high rates of depression and anxiety, teens today navigate fears about climate change, academic pressure, relationship struggles, and social media landscapes. It’s easy for teens, and their parents, to be overwhelmed by it all.
I work with teens on how to approach the complex issues of adolescence, as well as the individual growth and resilience that must take place during this crucial time of development. I work with parents to establish common ground, developmentally appropriate expectations, and strategies for staying connected.
In this place of deeper understanding, parents can remain attuned to to their teen’s evolving needs and values, and teens can navigate the transformational journey into adulthood.
